Statistics, different types of data. Stumped on this question: "3. (Ch2) Which of the following statements is true? a. The type of charge card used by a customer (Visa, MasterCard, AmEx) is interval data. b. The number of Nobel prize-winning faculty at Oxnard University is continuous data. c. The duration (minutes) of a flight from Boston to Minneapolis is ratio data. d. The number of regional warehouses owned by Jankord Industries is ordinal data."
Could someone go over why each of the false ones is false and why?
Looks like a) is Nominal date because it refers to a name: Visa, Master Card, ...
B) cannot be continuous data because the number of Nobel prize winners must be an integer. So it is a discrete data not continuous.
