Is interleaving and Fast Mode the same thing? So if I disable interleaving does it enable Fast mode?

I actually read something on this a few months ago but, didn't want to say anything about it earlier. Apparently interleaving is a protocol initiated by your internet company that corrects problems before data hits your router. Its usually implemented for a reason because of heavy lines and can really improve your sync stability at a loss to your ping time. I would believe your can disable it and it would switch to fast mode but, like I said it probably there for a reason. Hopefully this helps!@!
