The triangle on the right has angles 60 degrees and 58 degrees. And you know that a triangle has to have 180 degrees. So the missing angle is 62 degrees. Set 62 degrees equal to 2x and solve for x, which will give you 31 degrees. You can do that because they are called vertical angles.
