how do i find the limit of this.. lim -4x^-3 x->0

myininaya (myininaya):

first of all x^-3 means 1/x^3 do you know how to graph 1/x^3? Or no what the graph looks like around x=0?

myininaya (myininaya):

know not no*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, it never touches 0, it goes |dw:1405044645310:dw|

myininaya (myininaya):

what do you notice about the as we approach 0 from right, the y values are getting what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they get smaller and they go to negative infinity..

myininaya (myininaya):

well if we are looking at the graph you drew from the right of 0 the y values get bigger|dw:1405044796195:dw|
