chemistry question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know and i already solved it but what is k i don;t know

OpenStudy (festinger):

The k here is the rate constant. But I don't know what K and T are. Following Arrhenius equation K is presumably Ea/R while T is temperature. Note that Ea is in units of joule/mole and R is the gas constant.

OpenStudy (abb0t):

This is basically testing your algebra. To solve for E\(_a\), you should get: RT(ln(K)-ln(A))=E\(_a\)

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Which is essntially \(\Delta\)G - RTln(A)
