OpenStudy (mitu12):

1. type in a number you want to convert to a fraction like 2.5 2. press the MATH button and find the ->FRAC command 3. in the main screen you should see something like 2.5->FRAC, hit enter 4. 5/2 should pop up.

Convert from fraction to decimal (i.e. 1/2 = 0.5) or have the calculator do it for you by typing in numerator, division sign (\(\backslash\) or \(\div\)), denominator, and enter. mitu's post tells you how to have the calculator display the result as a fraction.

thank you both of u

OpenStudy (mitu12):

your welcome
