Do you know the formula for the area of a circle?

\[A = \pi r ^2\] Just sub in what ever the radius is.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where does 5 go

rvc (rvc):

r=5 correct?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Correct, only we call the Greek letter \(\pi\), pi, not pie. Now take the radius they give you, y - 5, and replace r in the formula with it.

(y2 - 25)pie?
