Habitat fragmentation occurs globally due to human development. One problem with habitat fragmentation is? a. increase in species. b. increase in biodiversity. c. they are more susceptible to natural disasters. d. they are less susceptible to natural disasters. e. increase in habitats that support life.
@tanya123
i thought they were supposed to be isolated and thus have less species
so I suppose C is the likely option
though i hardly see how isolation instead of location is the determining factor of where natural disasters occur
Ok, so which one's are you eliminating ?
A and B
cause how the heck does it increas in a tiny area there simply not the resurces
and same for e
hey maybe it D because theyre small
if you think about it, its harder to hit the class nerd with a dodgeball than the fat kid of the class
so in the same way its harder for a cyclone to damage a small environment
but in saying that, if it does, the damage is more significant
did you like the analogy?
um, never took that subject. And lol you got good examples
so.....?
Habitat fragmentation describes the emergence of discontinuities in an organism's preferred environment, causing population fragmentation. --- so I don't see the point of (E)
So, I agree with D. that sounds right to me..!
cool-cool
