OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes i know @ganeshie8 is a master Even @ikram002p is good But , @ganeshie8 is probably watching a vidoe

OpenStudy (thomas5267):

This is what I found on google. http://math.stackexchange.com/questions/329/best-book-ever-on-number-theory

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't want a book , i want some videos

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i can search them on utube , but i want someone experienced about number theory to voice out their view

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When I took discrete math2, number theory part is in discrete math1, I just read the book and got the concept. I have both online book and paper book. If you like I can send you the copy of my online book.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes , sure

Directrix (directrix):

Look under Mathematics on this free ebook site. There are several number theory books listed. http://www.openculture.com/free_textbooks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i will see it

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Also you may want to see @KingGeorge @Zarkon suggestions

OpenStudy (vishweshshrimali5):

Well I too can suggest some world class books but they would start from beginning and end up at Olympiad level. G.H. Hardy, E.M. Wright : An Introduction to the Theory of Numbers, Oxford University Press; 5th edition, 1980. I. Niven, H.S. Zuckerman, H.L. Montgomery : An Introduction to the Theory of Numbers , John Wiley and Sons, Inc., 1991. These are two books that I loved the most on Number theory. You can also read Titu Andreescu's books but I don't think you would have read Diophantine Equations. There are many other many other great books also but they require much more knowledge. If you are preparing for some engineering entrance exam, I would recommend you NOT to go off syllabus. You already would have a lot to read. Try reading them in more detail. Vishwesh
