OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

• What is an historical idea or event that supports Lincoln’s point of view regarding the future of the country based on slavery being accepted or not?

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

What do you need help with? Do you understand the question?

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

Because this information smells like info you would find in your textbook(which you should have read) c;

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

I have read it over several times, I just can't find the answer. :/

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

So when something "supports" something in literature, it usually means this idea or thought agrees with it or holds a similar idea to it

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

It could also just be the restatement of that information

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

But in most cases it will be a statement agreeing with it or showing proof of this "idea"

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

So what piece of information do you think will support Lincolns views?

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

As I do not have access to your textbook, I can't find the answer for ya :P

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

Oh okay I think I get it now, I might remember where to find it. Thanks! :]

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

Example: Statement: "These pigs are fat" said John. Supporting Statement: The farm had fat pigs
