Hey! Who knows about being color blind! I have been having trouble with colors lately, so I was just wondering if anyone knew some kind of way to determine if I am color blind. :3
@Abhisar @Somy
Helloooooo? You guys know how to help?
I don't think you can stop it.
Is everything gray?
No not stop it. Just like a way to determine if I am.
What colour is the image?
can u distinguish colors?
or u just see all black and white
Well I don't see everything black and white, but I heard you can just have problems with certain colors. And I have gotten colors wrong before. And I have horrible eye sight.
hmm nah its not colorblindness chill
if it still worries you just go to check up
What do you mean check up?
A cousin told me it could be colorblindness... So I got worried....
@ganeshie8 @thomaster @Compassionate @shamil98 @Kainui
She means go see an eye doctor to ask him/her if it is colourblindness.
ya
Oh... Well my dad would think that's a stupid assumption...
Its ok , calm down(:
Well, took a test. Apparently I could be. But the test is not accurate.
Its gonna be ok(:
Yeah it is. I have survived pretty well so far, so it shouldn't be a problem.
That's the spirit :) you'll be all okay. Just have your regular eye-check ups :)
I get my eyes checked every year. I dunno if that's the supposed amount though.
And I am going to have to go soon, cause my eye sight is getting worse...
I get mine checked every year. But my doc says I need to increase the frequency of visits as my myopia is -5.00 diopters and with higher myopics, there are always chances to have retinal detachments(higher risk with contact sports, racing, etc) I wonder why the doctors did not diagnose you with color blindness earlier?
Never got tested for it. They only checked how much I can see, but never the color part.
Im legally blind without my glasses .
The Ishihara test is done as a part of the regular check-up where I'm from. I find it odd that they don't do it there. Maybe you have to request for it, it only takes about 2 minutes.
Yeah, I have to request it. But we never did.
You will be fine(: :*
@HisOnlyForever Hey, why don't you give Yoga a chance? I hear they have good eye exercises which can help you control your myopia. I haven't tested this but there couldn't be any harm right?
Cuz im not worried about it lol , my glasses are just fine and I can do the possible surgery to correct it too .
I don't have any issues with wearing glasses .
I don't like glasses. I have had to wear them since I was three... now I wear contacts...
My teacher's son had an accident very close to his eye(the eyelid tore) and he complained of major headaches. They took him to the optha- and found out his myopia had reduced, freaky right?
That's actually really creepy. I once had an accident and thought I was going to lose my left eye. I was in the pool with the family, so I decided to get my goggles and try to see how long I could stay swimming under water. So as I was coming up for air, one of my smaller cousins jumped into the pool right infront of me and started kicking. She kicked me in the left eye and I felt two distinct pains. One in my face where she kicked me. And the other was a painful tug on the back of my eye. And I know that that wasn't a good sign. So turns out the goggles I had on sucked my eye and when I took them off my eye was blood shot and I couldn't see through it. After a while my vision came slowly back though...
Omg that sounds really really painful, I'm glad you are alright! I had a similiar experience(not with swimming though). I had a motorcycle accident and the impact of my fall made the chinstrap of my helmet break and the helmet flew away. I was face down with a cut 2mm from my eye and had a 6 inch cut on my face(its healed and not visible now). As soon as I got up, my vision blacked out slightly and everything became white(yeah I guess I was semi-conscious). I couldn't see anything, there were extreme colors and everything got very very bright.. I sat down near some tree and covered my eyes because I was scared that I was going blind. It got better in a few minutes to an hour though. I recovered completely and most of my scars have gone :)
Its good to know your okay. And yes, it was extremely painful.
wanna watch something creepy?
Um... sure?
@Somy
Show me something creepy.
nah lol
its too creepy what if u faint or get a shock i'll feel bad lol
How creepy? What is it even?
a dude umm his face i'd say breaks into 2 pieces
More detail please?
don't watch it if you have problems with such stuff
I once saw this traffic collision, this guy's windshield was cracked and bent inwards in a high degree but not broken. I asked a bystander what happened and he told me that the car dude was speeding and he hit a motorcyclist head-on and the motorcyclist's face was completely maimed. I went home really careful that day, its so sad :/
thats good u r okay!!! @kennybm
I used to live in Colombia, South America. Don't go there. not very nice. But anyways, I saw a guy on his motorcycle hit a taxi, go flying and snap his neck. Now kids, that's why you wear a helmet. He died. I got to see how they put him in one of those bags and everything.
Yeah helmets saves lives. The accident I told you about which happened to me last year, I was wearing a full-face helmet and still ended up with a gaping hole in my chin and a bad scar near my eye(all healed now). The chinstrap broke and but the initial impact did not make my brain juice spill on the asphalt. Also another tip is to wear unbreakable spectacles. My glasses did not break and blind me because I invested in a better quality + thicker frames. Its all about precaution, its not "cool" to be unsafe.
Did you get paid for that ad? X3
try seeing an eye specialist an optomoetrist or ophthalmologist instead of relying on these who are not professional in such a field.

Okay. Found this image and hopefully it can determine if I am color blind. The thing is, I see number 4 and one exactly the same.
@Abhisar @kennybm @Somy They aren't the same are they?
Are they?
they are not
Hm... well that sucks. Could you tell me what you see?
i could have said that u have problems with distinguishing blue color but if it was so u'd see all of them like that
u'd see blue - as black
To me they all look like a dark blue. So I am guessing that helps. And if I remember correctly, the flag is supposed to be light blue
hmmm kinda true so i guess your problem is not color blindness
its 'intensity' of color that u can't distinguish - not color itself
Okay... does that have a name? I am curios to see how much I can find out.
dear
advise from me
don't search anything in google
write headache if u read to much from internet about headache lots of symptoms will fit and u'll Diogenes yourself with Brain cancer while its just headache due to not enough sleep
my ta in genetics once said that if ur color blind then the red eyes of the drosophilia wild type will be hard to distinguish from the mutated colors.
Oh. Well I sleep a lot. SO headaches aren't a problem. Its just I am legtskydoodles afraid I might be color blind or something. I have gotten colors wrong before, and I don't know what to do.
nope i'll tell u your disease
its Hypochondria
lmao WOWWWWW
u r scared of serious diseases and u always feel like u r seriously ill when u notice a small pain or so
@nincompoop lol that's pretty common tho xD
Hahahahahahahahaha. No. When I feel a little pain its just a little pain. I am just afraid of losing my eye sight. I fear few things, but one is losing my eye sight. So I got worried.
yeah well its still Hypochondria :3
i have ICP pretty sad lol well i get constant severe headaches suddenly i started getting them too often lol coz of internet i thought i have tumor 'hypochondria' activated i freaked out my parents and did MRI brain scan
there was nothing xD
just my imagination / scare also im scared of getting into water /lake if it reaches my neck - i feel like i'll drawn this is also phobia as well as hypochondria
LMAOOOOOO
so don't freak out too much coz human 'brain' - unconscious mind is pretty scary lmao u get actually get that disease if u think of it too much .... lol don't be scared plz lmao @nincompoop enjoying 。◕3◕。
No I am not freaked out... yet... Because if it were just color blindness, I could live with that. But what if it were some kind of severe problem? Would be sort of good to know. But I just want to be conscious of the possibilities. Just in case. Itss better to be safe than sorry.
just go to the doc
My dad won't want to believe me.
just say u want to do check up thats it
ummm are u saying u see all colors as dark kinda? while its actually pretty light
Me- Dad, can I get my eyes checked? Dad- Why son? Me- Well... check up. Dad- alright. *we drive to the doctor* Dad- My son wanted to get a check up Doc- alright. Would you like me to give him the color blind test? Dad- sure... *I do the test* Doc- I am sorry, your son is colorblind. *dad punches doctor in the face* Dad- don't you ever say that gain! Me- but dad, its true. *punches me in the face* Dad- well imma beat you flutterin eyes till they see right! No son of mine is color blind! Me- nope! Never mind! I see fine!
And I am not sure. I saw that blue and red as dark. Not like grey or something. Just dark.
hmmm
