hi can you guys help (x^2+3y-3)-(-2x^2+3y-1)

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

first we need to distribute the negative through the parenthesis.. x^2 + 3y - 3 + 2x^2 - 3y + 1 now we can combine like terms 3x^2 - 2
