OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK

OpenStudy (nikato):

what do you get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got 2 though?.... and thats not one of the choices :/

OpenStudy (nikato):

yo're not done yet. so now you have \[\left| x-3 \right| <2\]

OpenStudy (nikato):

since its an absolutute value, theyre actaully two solutionis to this problem x-3<2 and x-3>-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't understand though im confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait do I add to to both sides of both solutions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

two not to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got -1 for my answer is that correct

OpenStudy (nikato):

no x-3<2 x-3>-2 add three to bothsides x<5 and x>1 combine both inequalities 1<x<5 so ur answer is somewhere between 1 and 5. there is only one answer choice that fits this
