in venn diagrams the left circle is separate from the right side circle. Anything in the middle is in between which is separate. if that makes any sense

What does area and perimeter have in common? Perimeter is the measurement of the distance encapsulating the figure, which means it's the length of the border of the space in the figure. Area is the measurement of the amount of space within the shape. This means they are both different kind of measurements of the space of a shape.
