The sum of three consecutive integers is 267. What is the largest integer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can set it up like this where x is the first integer. x+(x+1)+(x+2)=267 3x+3=267

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you solve that now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When you solve for x add 2 and you get the largest one :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i would then subtract 3 on both sides then divide my answer which would be 264 so divide it by the 3x wich would be 88 and then you say to add 2? which would then make my final answer 90?

Yes you are correct good job!
