Which of the following sentences does not use language figuratively? My day at school was a marathon and a triathlon combined. I felt like I could take a nap after the long day of tests that I had. You should have seen me; I was like a bee buzzing from flower to flower. My backpack was exhausted after the day that I had at school.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im sorry im here what is your best guess?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when doing these questions think about something you can actually do can you buzz around a flower as a bee, can you be tired and take a nap, can your back pack tell you its exhausted, can your school day be a marathon and a triathlon?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the only one that you could physically do is take a nap after your tired

It would be the second one, since it is literal and not figurative. The first is a metaphor. The third is a simile, the fourth is a personification.
