EF is a median of isosceles trapezoid ABCD. BF is what equal to ED. A. Sometimes B. Always C. Never

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

i think it is always, because that other question you asked, someone said that an iscoceles is always

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

but, i may be wrong

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

without looking at the trapezoid.... well may require clairvoyance

OpenStudy (aum):

|dw:1405116988421:dw|

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

since we dunno where BF is at

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

yea... but that's assuming those are the points in the trapezoid

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well let ME draw the trapezoid

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1405117227204:dw| NOW THIS is the trapezoid

OpenStudy (aum):

EF is a median. It implies BF = FC and AE = ED (always true). But what about BF and ED? In general, they are not ALWAYS true. But they can be made to be equal. So the answer is ..... ?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

a trapezoid means, it has 2 sides that are parallel, usually one longer than the other and ISOSCELES trapezoid means, 2 sides that are equal so if the parallel part aren't equal, then the other 2 are that is, the slanted sides so one can say |dw:1405118194837:dw| and that |dw:1405118238059:dw|
