factor 3x^2 + 10x + 7=0 Everything is positive. The first and last values are Prime (3 and 7). It has to be one of these: (3x+1)(x+7) (3x+7)(x+1) Always good to keep in mind various ways of proceeding. No need to try to go through life with only one method in your pocket.
