In the Krebs cycle: 1) pyruvate is broken down into CO2 molecules 2) glucose is broken down into NADH and CO2 3) CO2 is converted into pyruvate and O2 4) NADH and CO2 are converted into ATP

OpenStudy (abhisar):

What do u think it should be ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it is glucose is broken down into NADH and C02. I'm not positive

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Glucose is broken down into 2 molecules of pyruvate inthe process called Glycolysis prior to Kreb's cycle.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Kreb's Cycle takes in the pyruvate molecule and breaks it into CO\(_2\)

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Got it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so its A?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Yes it's A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you very much :)
