In the figure below, if AB = BX and XC = CD, what is s in terms of p and r?
angle p= angle r
xb=xc
xa=xd
|dw:1405166455780:dw|
180-2(p+r)
|dw:1405166571528:dw|
(P+S+r) +r+S=180 ur correct its S= 180 - 2(r+p)
but r\(\neq \)p
yes angles opposite to equal sides
nope , they are not equal :O unless XA=XD
but its not given that XA=XD right ?
yes
so ?
u r right? .i have a doubt .how to learn geometry.i cant able to get it.do u have any study materials
mmm well , what level of geometry do you want ?
all level from basic to.................
i suggest this site if u wanna learn basics http://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/ for high level of geometry , its about proof's and stuff
i know this site very well.only basics are there.any my question takes hours to solve .for high level which book
mmm well if u consider ur Qn as a high level then ur wrong :-\
high level of geometry is sort of the study of parallel Axioms in Eclids+Hibert /neutral / hyperbolic / sphirical geometry
so ... ill give u a link anyway https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1oczGnMVhNqRzhQY09VTWFZYTQ/edit?usp=sharing
