MEDAL AND FAN!!! Simplify 27 to the negative 2 thirds power.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

show me the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

27 to the negative 2 thirds power.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[27 -\frac{ 2 }{ 3 }^{2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so what needs to be done is multiply 27 by 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 ^2 is 4 3^2 is 9 so it would be 4/9 now 27 x 4 is 108 divided by 9 is 12 so the simplify form would be 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's not a choice the 27 is kinda under 2 over 3 and theirs no power of 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you take a picture of it and post it so i can see it please cause its kinda confusing what you are saying
