anyone good with the richter scale?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@dan815 @tester97 @IMStuck @Kainui can anyone help please?

OpenStudy (paki):

what's your question... i am here....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you. The richter magnitude of an earthquake was registered at 9.2. What would be the energy released in joules of an earthquake of magnitude 9.2? Correctly round your answer to one decimal place.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was given a hint; replace M(x) by 9.2 and solve the log equation for x, then multiply by 10^4.8(I was given this number before) to get the value of E for this magnitude. Can you show your work as well if it isn't too much of a bother. Thanks in advance.
