1. which of the following is the weakest relative force? a) weak nuclear b) strong nuclear c) gravity d) electromagnetic 2. an object in a gravity well will have a) negative gravitational potential energy b) negative kinetic energy c) a circular orbit d) positive total energy

OpenStudy (tanya123):

2nd, I'm not sure - positive total energy.

OpenStudy (kainui):

Wrong @tanya123 , gravity is the weakest. Just think about how tiny a magnet is. It exerts its force on things very easily for being so tiny. Take a rock about the same size or heck, even 20 times as big as the magnet and you will see that it attracts nothing. That's because you need about as much mass as an entire planet before you even start feeling any affects of it pulling on you, since it's SUPER WEAK!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1st is gravity
