Rodrigo is looking at the system below. 2x + 3y = 9 x - 8y = 11 His first step is to multiply the second equation by two and subtract the equations. Is he correct? If not, why not?

no he is not correct at all. 1) when u multiple one equation you have to multiply something to the other 2)that would not eliminate anything
