Find the value of the expression \[\frac{ 3(4+3)+3times3 }{ 3(8-1) }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use PEMDAS. Parenthesis ,Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction So in this case you have some parenthesis' do those first. 4+3=7 so now it is 3(7) +3*3 Simplify so it becomes 21+9/ 3(8-1) Again do the math inside the parenthesis first. (8-1)=7 7x3= 21 So you have 30/21. That's your answer but if you want it simplified then it would be 10/7
