Webster has some pennies, dimes and quarters in his pocket. When Josefaasks him for change for a dollar, Webster discovers that he cannot make the change exactly. What is the largest possible value of the coins in his pocket? I saw some place that the answers is 3 quarters=0.75 4 dimes= 0.40 4 pennies= 0.04 ===>1.19 But why instead of 4 dimes the answer cannot be with 3 dimes for a total of 1.09?
