It is well known that the evaporative cooling effect of a zeer pot works well only in arid climates because in humid climates the air is already saturated with moisture. Little evaporation takes place. But if humid air is heated then relative humidity goes down. If humidity is lower then evaporation can take place. So, if in a humid climate, circulating air passing over a zeer pot were heated - say by placing the zeer pot inside a simple metal solar chimney open on bottom and top then would evaporative cooling take place making the inner pot cool down? Or would the whole system heat up?
