OpenStudy (camerondoherty):
An equation is shown below:
9x - y = -2
Part A: Explain how you will show all of the solutions that satisfy this equation. (4 points)
Part B: Determine three different solutions for this equation. (4 points)
Part C: Write an equation that can be paired with the given equation in order to form a system of equations that is inconsistent. (2 points)
OpenStudy (kanwal32):
just put the values and check
OpenStudy (kanwal32):
9x+2=y
OpenStudy (anonymous):
IDK if I have done this kind of problem but for PArt B: you could just plug in like x=0. x=1.x=2 see what you get for y
OpenStudy (camerondoherty):
Yea i got A done and B goes with A but i dont know C...

OpenStudy (kanwal32):
can u explain the meaning of question c part
OpenStudy (camerondoherty):
what?
OpenStudy (kanwal32):
cause i am hearing it for the first time
OpenStudy (kanwal32):
question C??
OpenStudy (camerondoherty):
It says to make another equation with 9x - y = -2 to make a syatem of equations thats inconsistent

wait 4 a minute
OpenStudy (kanwal32):
ok this means making equation which has no solution
OpenStudy (camerondoherty):
Oh ok... Umm how? lol
OpenStudy (kanwal32):
make the equation a parallel line (with no intersection)
