@iPwnBunnies

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

A monomial is one term with a variable: x, 2x, 56x^3, etc. Polynomials are more than one monomial of different degrees either added or subtracted together, like: 5x + 9x^2 - 4

d or c

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

Well, Choice C is (2-x). It's two terms being subtracted. Is that a polynomial or a monomial?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

polynomial?

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

Yep. :) Choice D is the monomial. It's simply -4/y It's one term.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks :) can you help with 4 more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or just 3

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):
