I need an explanation for a equation of a line, please.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can be more specific?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like in general. What it is and how I could solve for one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are many forms for the equation of a line, the one I use the most is y=mx+b where m is the slope of the line and b is the y intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There is also point-slope form.. that one you can write the equation if you are given 2 points on the line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okey..I understand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does that answer your question? it is pretty broad.. I can explain point-slope more and there is also the (standard) form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

adding onto @Venny equations of line can have one sol., 2 sol., infinitly many sol., no solution
