(cost of adult)*(# of adults) + (cost of child)*(# of children) = (total cost)
and 
(# of adults) + (# of children) = (total # of people)

You have to have a system of equations, two equations total. One of the equations will relate the number of adults and children to the total number of people in attendance, and the other equation will relate the cost per child and per adult to the total money made.
