Macrophages engulf the bacteria with antigen surface marked on it it binds to the antigen it engulfs it also it takes up the bacteria all together that is agglutination also it exposes the antigen surface of bacteria so that it can readily be engulf by phagocyte and then phagocyte destroys the bacteria by the process of phagocytosis that is it releases hydro lyric enzymes
