What type of line is the graph of 4x + y = -3

you get y by itself, it will look like y= -4x-3. then you can plug it in you fancy graphing calculator. but i don't have a graphic calculator with me but i believe it is linear. but plug it in you calculator to make sure!:) tip if it is linear then the line is straight.

Linear because the highest x is just an x hence linear, if it was x^2 it would be a quadratic, x^3 would be a cubic something divided by x it is a reciprocal.
