This pedigree chart tracks the inheritance of a recessive trait that is not sex-linked. Based on the information in the chart, which of the following statements is true? A. Individual #11 must be homozygous for the recessive trait. B. Individuals #3 and #4 must be heterozygous for the trait. C. Individual #2 must be heterozygous dominant for the trait. D. Individual #9 must be homozygous dominant for the trait.
What do u think it should be ?
To be honest i dont know. thats why in asking
Can u eliminate any of the option ?
maybe A
lets start with do u know what are heterozygotes homozygotes and how do u make a cross?
kind of
if i give u the alleles T t can u write the homozygotes heterozygotes
if i were to pick any of the answer choices I would pick D
do you guys think its right ?
u wud not pick any choices..we would give a reason and come to conclusion
I guess option B is the answer as it is not sex linked the individual can only be recessive in case only if the parents are carrier for that trait or hetrozygous
thanks
@ASRA_SALEEM Don't provide someone with just the answer - explain the process, and help guide them through understanding the problem. Seeking/Giving Just/Direct Answers is against the \(\large\sf\color{red}{\underline{\href{ /code-of-conduct}{CODE~OF~CONDUCT}}}\)
I hope Nicksl99 u got it
