Very confused by this problem... doesn't make sense. If 3 happy faces = 25 happy customers, how many unhappy customers are equivalent to 3 unhappy faces?
guessing the answer is 5..
or maybe just 25.. LOL
are there any other questions like this that went before this one? It looks like 3 Unhappy faces in the shape of a triangle= 25 they are asking what 3 unhappy faces in a straight line equals Unless it matters how the faces are arranged (i.e. is there more to the question that suggests this), then I would say 3 unhappy faces = 25 , no matter what order they are in.
@phi no haven't been getting questions like that at all except for this but that doesn't seem similar at all
Unless there are other examples of the face question or directions, I would go with 25
@phi i'll go with that too
@phi ended up being incorrect the only other answer i would've thought would be five but that wouldn't make sense either..
though there is a good chance I am wrong on this!
@phi yeah i know
@phi would you mind helping me with another question?
please post it.
@phi nevermind i thought i got it
@phi would it be 1/8 or 8?!
I have not seen the definition of "ratio of change" but ⅛ sounds more reasonable than 8 (but it really depends on the definition)
