im no expert but shouldnt you find the area of the triangle first, then the trapezoid then add them?

Okay, calculate the area of the big triangle, since you have the measurements for that, then add it with the area of the trapezoid. The area for a triangle is 1/2bh and the area of a trapezoid is 1/2(b1+b2)h Does this help?

I was talking about the bigger triangle, at the bottom. The height is 12in and the base is 13.42in
