Okay..hold on. I'm not that good at word problems..
OpenStudy (igreen):
He travels 65 MPH
It takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to work.
Car travels at 25 miles a gallon
Gas costs 3.65 a gallon
OpenStudy (igreen):
$3.65 for 25 miles.
OpenStudy (igreen):
65 miles per hour:
1 hour and 30 minutes:
1 hour = 65 miles
30 minutes is half of an hour.
And half of 65 is 32.5
So he travels 97.5 miles to go to work.

Gasoline costs $3.65 a gallon.
1 gallon = 25 miles
It takes him 97.5 miles to go to work.
97.5 / 25 = 3.9.
3.9 gallons.
3.65 * 3.9 = $14.24
