c

For the muscle tissue or the muscle itself?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, that's kind of a trick question. The muscle is made up of muscle tissue. And muscle can contract and relax. In the heart, modified muscle cells conduct electrical signals to coordinate contraction (don't sue me). Also, several muscle cells fuse to form one long fused cell (answer d) in striated (e. g. biceps) muscle, these "synciatial" cells contain multiple nuclei.

Ah okay. I'm going with C then. Thanks!
