would I use the Pythagorean theorem, and in that case would my hypotenuse be 5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

* I am given the slant height

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well to find the volume wouldn't you just follow the formula which is one third times the area of the base times the height. So you wouldn't need the slant height.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not sure, but I thought I needed to find the actual height with the Pythagorean theorem because 5in is a slant height and not the actual. I don't know I am confused :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you don't, give me a sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

excuse my ugly handwriting its just I've been writing a lot today
