HELP!!!!!! An isosceles trapezoid is a quadrilateral with two congruent legs, a pair of parallel bases, and congruent base angles. Prove the diagonals of an isosceles trapezoid are congruent. Be sure to create and name the appropriate geometric figures. This figure does not need to be submitted.

In triangles DAB and CBA: Angle DAB = Angle CBA (given) AD = BC (given) AB = AB (reflexive property) Triangle DAB congruent to triangle CBA (SAS postulate) DB = CA (CPCTC)
Thank you sooooooo much! since I cant attach a picture to my response, how should i describe the picture you have made? Or because the question describes it, should i just say trapezoid ABCD then copy and paste the description they give?
You can describe it as trapezoid ABCD with sides AB and CD parallel. The congruent legs are AD and BC. The two congruent base angles are angle DAB and angle CBA and the diagonals are DB and CA. After that copy the proof shown above.
ok :) you have saved me from a lot of stress tonight!
Glad to be able to help.
