For one the cartoon on the right has a donkey head which is the symbol for the Democratic party. So the guy on the right is a Democrat. The guy on the left is wearing the Arizona AZ pin and the current governor of Arizona is a Republican. So this cartoon is sympathetic to the Republicans and bashing the Democrat on the right of the cartoon. A Democrat would disagree with this cartoon and a Republican would agree with this cartoon.

Okay, that makes sense! So would this be right?
I think this political cartoon is trying to portray how neither of the political parties, (Republican or Democrat) know how to solve the immigration issue. If they were to solve this issue then who would take the necessary, and lower paying jobs? If immigrants come, they are more likely to take those kinds of jobs simply because of a lack of experience. Although they wish to solve this issue, the people who hire the individuals without legal documents are making more money, due to the fact that they are able to pay their workers less than someone who has their legal documents. In one way it helps the individuals without legal documents because they are able to make some money rather than none, but they are working hard and getting paid less, is this fair? It makes workers who do not have the legal documents, seem inferior than to those people who have their proper legal documents
