solve the percent equation for p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok,the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats all the question says.. the equation is a=p% x b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, so its: \(\color{red}{\sf \large a = \frac{ p }{ 100 } \times b} \)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can simply multipli 100 to the both sides.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it would be greatly appreciated if u sow me wat the final answer looks like

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you have any idea on what we should do next?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry I'm still lost

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok let's check it again from the begining...i'll remove my posts.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well we had : \( \color{red}{ \large a = \frac{ p }{ 100 } \times b} \)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i multiplied 100 to the both sides so: 100 x a = p x b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does it become 100/a =p/100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and to find b we should remove b and we can divide both sides by b so: (100 x a) \ b = p would be answer ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

omg thank u so much :DD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you're welcome ;)
