expand (c^4-2b^2)^3 using the factor formula (x-y)^3 A. c^12-6c^8b^2+12c^4b^4-8b^6 B.c^12+6c^8b^2+12c^4b^4+8b^6 C.c^12+3c^8b^2+3c^4b^4+8b^6 D.c^12-6c^8b^2-12c^4b^4-8b^6

well,first we need to know what is (x-y)^3, you can find it bu multiplyng these: (x-y)(x-y)(x-y) and it would be : x^3- 3x^2y +3xy^2- y^3

ok i need the answer i hve 3 more ? i only have 10 min

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok,we can solve three questions in three minuts..i'm sure ;)

whats the answer to this one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so we just need to imagine that c^4 is x and 2b^2 is y and we simply can write: c^12 - 6c^8b^2 + 12c^4b^4 + 8b^6 so simply,A is the answer ;)

match each expression with the equicalent expressions A.2x^2-20+47 B.2x^2-20x+53 C.2x^2+20x+50 D.2x^2+20+53 match there with the right one 1.2(x-5)^2+3 2.2(x+5)^ 3.2(x+5)^2+3 4.2(x-5)^2-3

gtg be bak on at 2

number 1 = 2x^2 + 50 - 20x + 3 so it matched B so 1-->B number 2 : i don't really know what does 2(x+5)^ mean...i think you've missed something. number 3 = 2x^2 + 50 + 20x + 3 and it seems D is 20x not B and in this case n3 would be matched to S number 4 = 2x^2 + 50 - 20x - 3 and it simply matched A (and here again 20 should be changed to 20x)

sry i have to go...i'm veryy sry i'll be back for about 1 hour!
