The graph below shows the velocity f(t) of a runner during a certain time interval: Which of the following describes the intercepts on the graph? The initial velocity of the runner was 8 m/s, and the runner stopped after 2 seconds. The initial velocity of the runner was 2 m/s, and the runner stopped after 8 seconds. The initial acceleration of the runner was 8 m/s^2, and the runner stopped after 2 seconds. The initial acceleration of the runner was 2 m/s^2, and the runner stopped after 8 seconds.

I think its C...

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

need help : P

OpenStudy (camerondoherty):

yea

OpenStudy (camerondoherty):

lol

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

its b :P

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

I'd think that the graph STARTS off at 2 for f(x) or his "velocity" thus that's the START velocity or INITIAL velocity so he starts off at 2m/s and then after reaching a peak velocity 6seconds later, he started to slow down to a halt at 8seconds

OpenStudy (camerondoherty):

oh ok thank you!

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

yw

OpenStudy (camerondoherty):

@Here_to_Help15 id perfer if you'd explain it to me rather than giving out straight answers (with all respect)

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

with all due respect i respect your opinion

OpenStudy (camerondoherty):

lol

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

um let me see

OpenStudy (here_to_help15):

im dum he already answered :P
