Are the graphs of the lines in the pair parallel? Explain. Find the slope of a line parallel to 5x + 2y = 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To answer your second question, the slope of a parallel line is the same slope of the line parallel to it. So, we just need to turn 5x + 2y = 6 into the slope intercept equation of a line. This will give us our slope, which will be the slope of a line parallel to it.
