What is the union of the following sets? G = {12, 14, 16, 18} H = {13, 15, 17, 18} {18} {12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17} { } {12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18}

OpenStudy (vishweshshrimali5):

Union in layman's language is just writing all the things together in { } brackets. These things must be present in the { } brackets of one of the sets we are uniting. For example: union of sets: {2,3} and {4,5} is {2,3,4,5}
