Since c is on the right-hand side of the equation, switch the sides so it is on the left-hand side of the equation. āˆ’2(7āˆ’c)=6 Divide each term in the equation by 2. cāˆ’7=3 Since āˆ’7 does not contain the variable to solve for, move it to the right-hand side of the equation by adding 7 to both sides. c=7+3 Add 3 to 7 to get 10. c=10
