-5067/12=

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

are you supposed to do this with long division?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no its mulitiple choice

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

are you supposed to solve this using long division?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

I would plug that into a calculator..

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

ahh well I hope math male is showing you, because long division is sort of hard to type up here....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (mathmale):

What do the instructions say? Are you to do this problem using a calculator, using long division, or what? Actually, zzr0ck3r is correct in asking whether you're supposed to use long division or not. You must choose a method of solution and then follow it, whether or not your question is multiple choice. What does "long division" mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just match

OpenStudy (anonymous):

never mind thanks for help i got it

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Sorry, but I need more info and more involvement from you. You are given a problem ("-5067/12=?") involving division, you must evaluate it yourself (using a method of your choice), and only then will you compare your answer with the four possible answers.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

The fact that this is a multiple choice question has little or nothing to do with your choice of method.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its ok i got bye thanks for your help though

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

and this is why I am done with this user...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

zzrock3r

OpenStudy (mathmale):

This kind of language has absolutely no place on OpenStudy and will not be tolerated.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry but zzrock3r is really mean

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

reread this conversation and then say that
