Answer choices: a. 1 b. -1 c. \[\frac{ 1 }{ 4 }\] d. \[\frac{ 1 }{ 7 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if i remember correctly slope formula is y1-y2/x1-x2 which in the end i think might equal to 1 cause it will end up being 3/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah I know the formula but it just confuses me :/ Could you help me with a few more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you would use the formula and fill in your numbers. 11-9 over 4-(-6) (which would be 4+6) which would equal 2/10 so 1/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

again for the next one it would 7-7 over 3-(-3) which would equal 0/6 so undefined

Calculate the equation of the line between the points (-6,-1) and (2,-1). a. y=-1 b. x=-1 y=-8x-1 d. y=-x-8

If MN is the diameter of a circle with M(-3,-4) and N(-7,-14), find the center of the circle. a. (-2,-5) b. (-4,-10) c. (-5,-9) d. -10,-18)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

equation of the slope is y=mx+b so for that question they give you your slope which is 3/7 and I'm pretty sure your b would be -2 so C.

Where P is (-2,6), R is (-10,4) and segment RT is a diameter of Circle P, find the coordinates of T. a. (-4,-12) b. (6,8) c. (8,2) d. (8,6)

Last one! What is the y-intercept of 12+4y=10? a. 2.5 b. -3 c. 4 d. -12
