OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=4 Double roots what does it mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am not positive on this but I think double roots are where you take a root of a root like \[\sqrt[3]{\sqrt{3}}\]

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

no - i think its where you have a root of multiplicity 2 for example (x - 4)^2 = 0 (x - 4)(x - 4) = 0 x = 4 double roots

OpenStudy (anonymous):
